I've narrowed it down. Its either Ravin' Z33(did anyone else notice the apostrophe at the end of Ravin? I didnt at first...), or Flowmaster 40 series.

How do the sounds compare?

Also, will I lose backpressure with these systems?

If I'm not mistaken, the ' cuts the word short for Raving, what the heck it means I don't know.
As for sound differences, I have both systems, the Ravin Z33 on my 2001 and a FM 40 on my 96. If I had it to do again, I'd definately opt for Ravin on both trucks. The FM has too much resonance in the cab for me, the Ravin has the perfect tone in my opinion. Basicall it all comes down to a personal prefrence!

I had the Z55 installed and it wasn't loud enough for me. So Midas installed the Z33 for me free of charge. I since then had my Airforce one FIPK and at WOT it really sounds nice...
Especially when you are outside...

Good luck on your decision, I know that it took me 6 months to decide which one would sound best...
I'm glad I chose Z33.

Well, My girlfriend was a big flowmaster fan, till she heard my Ravin Z-33 on my truck. She loves it and says it gives it a more distinct sound...
