Question Gibson sideswept on a 4.2 ,does anyone have one ?

I'm thinking of going with the Gibson Side Swept, just wondering how does it sound on the 4.2 V6? And is there a noticable increase in power, or any loss of low end torque? Also how easy is it to install?

Well worth the money. Noticeable increase in performance (power, low and high end), I was running 33' tires on a 4" lift and needed the xtra power. As for sound, don't expect too much. It will never sound like a V8, but doesn't sound like a cheesy Honda either. I would strongly recommend all V6 owners to upgade to the Gibson.

P.S. I paid someone to put it in.

i have a gibson side exit on my 4.2L love the way it sounds and as long as you can get the rear up about 12 inches its easy to install ive had mine on the truck for 2 years now well worth the money longest lasting custom exhaust ive had on my truck. tail pipe is 2 sections if i remember right so you can get it over and around the axle.
