Hey Full Auto,

Everywhere I turn I keep getting pointed to the Gibson Side Swept. I've been talking with Roger Lemere about the new Flow Master and it sounds like they perform almost identical but the FM is a little louder. The Gibson is supposed to sound pretty close to stock but not quite. Like an old big block; just a good mellow tone. It's also supposed to be very easy to install and very good quality.

If I can do it without getting divorced, I'm ordering it next.

By the way, I got my chip Wednesday morning and the Airaid just arrived. I hope to install the chip and Airaid in the next couple of days. I'd like to compare what you see with your's. I know it hasn't been very long, but has the MPG gotten any better? Something I've pucked up on reading all these posts. Most people with worse or no change in MPG with the chip, don't have a FIPK, but those showing MPG gains do. Of course driving conditions with a new chip are a factor. Not sure if I'm reading something into it but I'll find out. I'll have both in at the same time.

Was the performance a considerable difference with the chip. Also, was the air suspension switch easy to remove? It looks like its bracket is a part of the ECU's bracket.

I've alway got a list of questions.....

Full Auto,

I've now got everything (for now) installed and love it. The Superchip, Airaid and S/S Sweptside.

How are you (or your wife) liking your's so far? Did the milage ever get better. Mine is way up! in the 16 MPG range around town now. I'm loving it.

Hey Family Ride

The best we are getting is 10.7 to 11
I am considering removing the chip unless it gets better.

I love the power, but gas mileage going down upsets the little lady

Thumbs up

What about the Flowmaster 70? I heard that it is close to stock as possible sound wise, but gives you all the advantages to performance upgrades as a high-flo muffler gives.
