Header Recommendations?

Ok folks. I've got more sqeaks and groans than I care to listen to. So.. guess the quiet stock exhaust needs to go to make room for something that rumbles to cover up those squeaks. I thought I'd install headers and dual exhaust.

Comments/recommendations on brands and setup anybody?

I have '95 Flareside with 5.0L and 4R70W.

Thanks in advance,
Doc

Go with JBA Ceramic Coated headers . No Warping thick flanges great header that's all I will buy a bit pricey but well worth it.Took my 1988 F-150 4x4 10 years to wear a pair of there headers out and those did NOT have the Ceramic coating and that was before they starting making them out of Stainless. Try www.truckperformance.com

Hey Richard!

Thanks for your reply. I am very interested in JBA Headers. I've only heard positive things about their durability. The price isn't bad either. I'll have to save up a little pocket cash over the next month or two, but the headers will make a great addition to my truck's list of mods. This Tuesday I'm having some ASP pulleys installed. The factory serpentine belt is smooth on one side from full throttle applications...hell, from just having fun! Ended up buying the Goodyear Gatorback...will throw that on while I'm at it. I'm excited! I'll keep ya posted.

Matt

Yeah MAC is the cheap way to go. JBAs are reall nice but pricey. You have plenty of other options with BBK, Gibson, Flowtech, Bassani (Nice Also), DynoMax (Longtubes), Headman (Longtubes), Ford Racing.

Hey there Beastie--

From what I have heard, through my Motorsport contact, unfortunately we 4.6'ers are unable to get the Bassani and motorsport headers. They only make them for the 5.4's. I heard that BBK and Edlebrock make some good headers, but The JBA's, in my opinion, cannot be matched. i'll just have to save up a couple month's worth of coffee and gas money to splurge!

Thanks
