HELP ME!!!!!!!!!
would the ravin z-33 sound good on a 300 i6 or should i go with something else? I really like the sound of straight pipes. How it pops when u let off the acclerater. What could i do to get that sound or close to it or just the popping and loud growl when you romp on it
If you like popping Ravins won't do that - at least the Z55. I have not heard any Ravin owners singing the praises of popping. Try Flowmaster for gurgle and pop.

I have a FM40 on my 300 I6 in my 96. It sounds really good in my opinion. Although it doesn't even come close to the sound and tone of the Z-33 I had put on my 01 Screw. The problem with the I6 is that the actual exhaust flow from the engine isn't enough to get the "optimal" sound out of the muffler you are using. Having a FM and Ravin, I personally will never use a FM again. If I wasn't trying to sell the 96, I would certainly change it over to the Ravin. I don't think you will be disappointed with the Ravin, unless you want that obnoxious gurgle and popping sound that the FM makes!
