Angry exhaust sensor problem

I just traded my 94 mustang in for a 97 f-150 with 24000 miles on it. The first owner install a performance chip and a cat back exhaust (which I can't identify the brand). I think it's a cheapo but it sounds great. The problem is the exhaust sensors keep going out causing the check engine light to come on. The dealer had just replaced the first bank before I bought it and 2 days after I had it the check engine light came on again. They diagnosed it again and said the the second bank of sensors need replaced. They are going to replace them but said that due to the aftermarket exhaust they won't replace them again.
Has anyone had this problem after installing a cat back or a performance chip?? Is this a fluke thing or are one of the mods possibly causing them to go bad? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

That doesn't jive...

So, all of the sensors failed at the same time? I doubt it.

Did they use SBDS? What is that crap about the cat-back? It sounds like something else is driving the sensors out of parameters.
