Smile finally! Headers for 97+ 4.2L V6 comming soon

after quite an "exhaustive" search over the last 6 months I found that JBA is R&D'ing a set of headers for the 4.2 V6. I was told they should be ready for public consumption by the spring of this year....March? April? I didn't get any promises but it's in the works. Here's their info in case anyone may not be familiar with JBA. JBA Headers (800) 830-3377.

Keep the faith guys....also AIRAID has a cold air kit for the 4.2 V6 that should be available now, or by the end of Jan.

Did they give you a price and HP/torque gains?

I've called Hooker and Hedman and both say they plan to or have headers in development.

I just called both again. Hooker said they will have something in 3-4 months. It will be their ProComp model and be about $400 (ouch!). Hedman says they won't have anything for a couple of years.
