What? You guys have extra?

 

I would like to ask, does the flowmaster do anything for your truck other then make it sound different? I would also like to say that this is my first time using this web site and I think all you people seem really cool!

Jeff M: I can remember thinking when I first put on the flowmaster that the truck seemed to have more "get-up" than before. Of course it could have been my heavy lead foot just trying to make that great rumbling sound all the time I put the flowmaster and the K&N air filter on before the superchip. Now when I added the chip, I most diffinately noticed an increase in HP. WOW is about all I can say to that

Who cares man! Its all about the sound anyway. If you get a little extra or even think you do that would be like gravy on your biscuts. I don't know the answer to your question but Like Tina, I put my foot into it just to hear it more so it seems like it helped. But one thing for sure, it hasn't hurt anything. BTW Welcome.

I was just passing by and I want to share my experience that I think is a good idea and is working. When we (my wife) decided we were going to buy the truck we made that a join venture. We choose the color, the options, etc., etc. Since we made that a practice since the begining she feels part of the project. I do the research on aftermarkets and tell her about the benefits and she accepts what I am plannning to do. She trusts me and if it is going to sound loud or run faster or be more responsive there must be a good reason for it.

As a matter of fact she likes all this high performance stuff very much, so, this is going to be easier as long as I don't delay buying her a new expy. And the story starts again. Besides, she already told me that my Christmas present will be $$$$$$ for the next purchase of goodies. I think next year I will be very busy with both the truck and WIFE.
