odd sound v-10
Anyone know what this sound is?
Sounds like the noise is coming from the drivers side of the engine; only when the engine is under heavy or light load. The engine has to be warm; doesn't do it while cold. It's a metallic chirping sound, alternator was thought to be the problem and was replaced. Performance doesn't seems to be effected.
2000 59,000 miles
v-10 , never towed

If its a buzzing sound from the passenger side it's possible it's coming from the exhaust. Maybe the cats or muffler??? Stand by them and have someone rev it. It could be something just rattling from the vibrations. (Maybe??)
