Almost as big as an Excursion...but its a 4dr sedan

Check this out:
2003 Maybach
Its a 4dr sedan that is available in 2 sizes...one of them LONGER than the Excursion.
7500lbs with a twin turbo V-12.
You can however purchase 10 Excursions for the price of this one car though.

Enjoy.

The Today Show on NBC had one on about 6-8 months ago. Quite nice on the interior to say the least. Like a living room in the back with reclining seats. It's OK, if you're into that sort of thing.

I'd rather have the Rolls for that kind of money.

Maybach was in a class equal or maybe above a Rolls in it's day. They're bringing it back with the same style. You actually order one as if you're building a house. Each one is built for the buyer. Of course the buyer is paying dearly for it!

yes, but a Rolls is a Rolls.

This is still a big Mercedes.

Just like Lincoln is a big Ford.

And lets not forget how Mercedes quality has been sliding lately (or at least they have been found out).

Question Mercedes quality slipping?

Now, that's a new one on me!

I'll always say that bang-for-the-buck, MB's are grossly overpriced... I mean, $100,000 for a G500, that more snug inside than the M class, from what I can see...

I think many cars (INfiniti & Lexus for example) are every bit as nice, and offer more for the money than the 3-pointed star, but I've never heard that their (Daimler/Mercedes/Chrysler) quality was bad.

I'm curious, please elaborate.... What model?

go look at the latest JD Power 5 year old results. Not that initial quality smoke screen. They actually look at cars that are 5 years old to measure longer term quality.

Mercedes and BMW are apparently wonderful when new, but all of this new technology is starting to break and damn expensive to fix.

They are still better built than a Chevy or Ford, but not worth 2x or even 5 x the price.

Audi sucks too (but I think most people know about those quality issues)
