Not bigger than the Excursion....

Well, if it's gonna be bigger, they didn't state that on the web page-

They said it would be the most spacious member, of the world's most powerful series of sport utilities...

Somebody will buy it, but I doubt that GM would make the same mistake Ford did- by "Biggie" sizing the SUV, right out of the average garage, thus out of the interests of consumers...

I see probably One EXT for every 5 Escalade's I see. I see a lot more Tahoe's than I do suburbans, I see a lot more Yukon's than I do Yukon XL's, I see a lot more Denali's than I see Denali XL's- What made GM/Caddy do this, I'll never know...

How many different ways can you reheat the same dish? It's certain to be a few G's more than a loaded Denali XL- With that truck, there's not much more to do to it, other than rims... I'd love to see what Caddy offers that the Super-Yuk' doesn't....

What?: Massaging seats, DVD Navigation, Intellicruise, central tire inflation system, Night vision- ala' DTS, 400 HP Northstar V8, OnStar, AM/FM/XM Radio c/30 disc indash CD changer, and dual cassette, power-folding 3rd seat (Not!), 22" wheel option, dual fuel tanks, All seats heated & cooled, integrated refrigeration system, DVD entertainment center, power folding mirrors, power running boards???

They are going to have to get ingenious, to beat what they (And Ford) already have on the market, at a cheaper price...

Okay, I'm posting for two reasons...

1. I think the Excursion is a short bus to begin with (I FREAKING LOVE IT!)

and

2. I just wanted to see the lightbulb lit on the Excursion board letting me know that there were new messages! LOL!

It's ashame that Ford is mothballing the Excursion. It's a sweet truck... just not made for many folks... let's face it...

IT'S HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!

That Escalade is just a rebadged Suburban... so no its not bigger than the Excursion.

I don't see why people are slagging it so badly. It's not THAT much bigger than a Suburban. Sure it has a V10 and a diesel, but what about all of these guys buying crewcab short box SUperduties and Chev2500's?

With the same oversized engines but even longer than the Excursion.

What gives?
