Hey Familyride

Keep your Expy. I had read back a few months ago that you were
thinking of getting a SUPERCHARGER for your EXPY.
I know you just got your boat and I am sure that set you a little back.
Just think with Supercharger you have the extra power for towing and blowing the door off the Chevy boys.

Good luck

My '99SD PS had a lot better pick up at that speed. Having said that I would still get a Excursion if they would somehow manage to get a AWD system in the truck( I know it isn't likely with the torque). It would be hard to convince my wife about getting another diesel though.
I highly doubt the Excursion will ever have an all-wheel-drive option. It's based off of the SuperDuty platform (which is obviously a truck). The Excursion is more a truck than an SUV, in my opinion. To go and change that would cost quite a bit extra to mass-produce the Excursion, I would think. I prefer to have the true 4wd system and think AWD setups should be reserved for smaller vehicles.

I can't speak for the V10 in the Excursion, but my PSD also has plenty of juice left at 75 mph. Passing is a breeze. Handling on the other hand, leaves a little bit to be desired. Most owners I've found online have replaced the shocks with an aftermarket brand and added a rear anti-sway bar. I've done both...night and day difference in handling.

I don't know many "significant others" who like diesels. My fiance doesn't like it simply for the fact that it doesn't warm her up fast enough. Any chance to reason with her in regards to the PSD's benefits are useless, I might as well speak a different language because that would render the same effect: rolling of the eyes. Gotta love 'em.
