yeah GLC he drives it on the floor everwere. and floged it pretty good up north in the woods. and towed crazy stuff with it. towing or just driving it got 6mpg. when his wife drove it it got 12mpg.

yes diesel stuff costs alot more to fix and maintain but that diesel engine will run forever.

Like I said, that sounds about right.

that diesel engine will run forever.
So will a well maintained V-10.

so will the different years range changed the excursion V-10 from 00-05? or they stayed the same? also what transmission do they come with?

im not sure on the V-10's my buddy has an 01 it runs good.

after 03 they have a diff. body style.

This is the one im looking at, the only thing i dont like is that its a:
v-10 none diesel
2WD
Low to the ground
no DVD player
but i do like that fact that its Color i have never seen on any excursion and its under 100,000miles and flawless but i would like some tips on what to look for this will be my second vehicle im going to buy.....well im still thinking

yeah its a nice looking truck.

the V-10's are great in them just not that great MPG.

2wd is nice think of it as cheaper maint. the front end of these things with 4x4 gets to be alot. IE a hub is 340 dollars PER SIDE for 4x4.

if you dont need 4x4 2wd will be fine. it has enough weight to it that in 2wd it goes threw alot.

well i never did reply to this post but they sold this vehicle the next day so i didnt get it, but i did pick me up a navigator...
