Travel Trailer Shopping for a 2001 v10 4x4

Hey guys my wife and I are shopping for a travel trailer and we have come across a 2006 Wildwood 42' trailer. I have a 2001 stock V10 Excursion Limited 4x4. Here are the stats of the trailer and I was wondering if I could get some input of some Ex owners that have pulled and if I am getting over my head with this or if I'll be fine.

Hitch Weight 1,300 lbs.

Axle Weight 9,130 lbs.

Dry Ship Weight 10,430 lbs.

GVWR 11,700 lbs.

CCC - Cargo Capacity 810 lbs.

Ext Length 42 ft. 6 in.

Ext Height 11 ft. 9 in.

Int Height 84 in.

Fresh Water Cap 42 Gal.

Black Water Cap 60 Gal.

This won't help much, but some people tow much heavier with no problem, some can't tow 5000# without problems. Suspensions seems ot inconsistant between some but how it's equipped makes a big difference too. You'd be surprised at the differences from year to year. If it's one of the years without a rear anti-sway bar, that is a must for starters.

Personally I'd think the V10 would be OK but you have to look at that gears it has. I'd prefer a diesel myself, but I'm biased.
