When are they stopping production of the Excursion?

I agree. They are too impractical for today's gas climate. They are too expensive to operate and require more fuel to fill up the tank than other vehicles. In fact, there was one sitting on Bison's, (Great Falls), Lot. I think that they were very happy to get rid of it.

You're joking right? A "gas" Excursion doesn't make sense but in few situations. I get better fuel milage that Sub's,Tahoe's Expy's etc. At minimum, no worse.
Last 2 fillups were $121 and $137. However, normal driving (not HWY) you can get 500-700 miles or on the hwy I'll get better. I fill up about once a month.
Geesh.......

Yeah, however, you have the Powerstroke, and they typically get somewhat better mileage than the V-10 gets.
By the way, the one on the lot was a powerstroke and it was really pricey.
