Is there a rear window defrost in ANY F-150 trim level?

Does a rear defrost even exist for the F-150 at any trim level? I really would like to have this on my truck.

Can it be done? Did any version of late model F-150 come with one? Is aftermarket installation even possible?

As far as i know they don't offer it the past 2 winters i drove my truck by the time i got to work the rear window was clear from the frost by the heater heating up the cab that right there will defrost your rear window in a short time in a reg cab maybe a little longer in the supercab.

I deal with 100*+ summers, and my solution is, roll the windows down and turn off the AC. But maybe thats just me LOL

Most of the time, I am either in uniform or a shirt and tie, no AC is NOT an option for me. Besides, Its too damn hot at noon in Florida in August in a BLACK truck

I had not thought about the Blackwood. I wonder what would be involved.... obviously widdow glass and a switch of some sort. I also imagine there is some special control unit or wiring. I will have to check around a bit.

Good idea about the Blackwood. Rear window glass should be identical.

Do you have this installed in your truck? If so, how do you like it?

No I don't. I never really saw a need for it, but if I lived up north I probably would. I lived in Chicago for 10 years and visited the JC Whitney store a number of times. I miss going there in person, but they do a great job. If you request their catalog you can get one specific to your vehicle, so you don't have to lust after stuff you can't use.

One thing I do know about rear window defrosters:

DO NOT INSTALL ONE IF YOU HAVE AFTERMARKET TINT!!

If you're lucky the film bubbles
If you aren't lucky-FIRE!
