i was under my f 150 tonite and noticed a small 2 prong connector just hanging there.
this connector branches off the same line the oil pressure sensor is on. i think thats what the sensor coming off the oil filter block is.

its colors are 1st wire blk\red stripe
2nd wire red\yellow stripe
is this supposed to go somewhere?

 

Umm.. I think we're going to need pictures for this one.

 

i was looking in the book but can not find it. some trucks have a power steering pressure sensor sw. i think that is what that is for. the ps pump is mounted in front of the oil filter. and the sw. i think is on the back of the pump. on some trucks. again that is my guess at this point. its a one harness fits all kind of thing. hehe
