I have them up front and they are plugged in, but I'm unable to "pull out the light switch" when in low beam. Lord knows I tried! The whole switch just turns it doesn't come out at all.

 

its poss. that you have the wrong sw. did you just get your truck. sounds like ford put the wrong sw in. if those are factory fog lights. drive back to dealer if you can. and check out some other trucks. the sw pulls out very easy.
