Unhappy Power Door Lock Relays

Reference 98 F150 super cab.:

According to Haynes Repair Manual, there are two power door lock circuits: with and without the Remote Anti-thief Personality (RAP) module. The RAP module version utilizes three relays to operate the solenoids.

My truck is apparently equipped with the RAP version and I need to find the location of the relays, specifically the relay which controls the all-unlock function.

Can anyone tell me where the door-unlock relay is located?

Thanx.

Thumbs up

Thanks Wino,

I think I know the picture your looking at. I went to see my local Ford dealer just yesterday. He showed me the location picture in the manual, and his first thought was the same - under the oval panel. So I checked under the panel, and while there are relays there, they're not the door lock relays (the wire colors are wrong, and simply pulling them has not affect on the door locks).

The dealer checked further and one of his contacts said that the door-lock relays are located behind the radio.
