steering wheel componets

I have a 1994 ford f-150 flareside and the electrical componets on the steering wheel don't work: the cruise control, horn, and the air bag light flashes. but I checked all of the wiring and its all conected propery, and the fuses aren't blown, So I'm at a loss at what to do, so some one help a ford in distress

Replace the clockspring. This is the wiring for all three problems you are having. Reguires removal of the airbag and steering wheel. Please let a Technician do it if you are not SURE you handle it.

nitro is right. clockspring. becareful. if your going to do it read the book. and make sure you dissconnect the battery. and have the wheels staight. there is a timming issue. so it will not wind it to thight. it will come set for haveing the wheels straight.

I am just now getting ready to do my clockspring in my truck and i need any tips you all can give me. My biggest concern is the airbag, I want to know, when I put the new clockspring in and connect everything and turn the key to on if the airbag will go off on me, and if it will is there any precautionary tips I need to take to prevent it from happening. Also i want to know if the steering wheel comes off with ease, the last steering wheel i took off of my 91 f-150 was a pain, and i heard that these ones are not as hard as the other ones to pull off, but i also heard that they are even harder to pull off. I could also use any general information about putting ina clockspring if there is anything i need to watch out for or if there is anything I need to do special other than pulling the steering wheel off and pulling the clockspring out and simply putting ina another one. Please any advise would help I am not use to dealing with this kind of problem.
