Problem Starting In The Heat
i have a 2002 f150 with a whole whopping 800 miles on it. recently it's been really hot (80-100 degree heat) and when i try and start it, it starts completely for about 2 seconds, then the motor cuts off. the radio, air, etc stays on but that's it. normally i would just start it again and it would start regularly but today, it took me quite a few times to get it to start. i even tried giving it gas and it still wouldn't work. a friend of mine said it might be the idle control valve. does that sound right?
