Auto Lamp Sensor

I'm trying to find where the auto lamp sensor is on a 2002 SCrew. I read on the boards that the set screw is under the panel in the dash. Is the sensor under the panel where the slots are or in the grill someplace?

I always drive with my lights on, and i haven't done the DRL mod, so i figured i would cover the sensor and just have the auto lamp come on always. I know it sounds like a pretty crewd way to do it, but i think it would work.

Thanks

The autolamp sensor is located under the slots on the top of your dash. The DRL modification is simple to do. If you are interested in installing the DRL, go to -

http://www.geocities.com/skyjet1/DRL.html

This will give you complete information.

CBechtel,

Thanks for the info. Since I would have to open the dash top either way, i guess i'll go with the DRL mod from the link.
