The stereo in my 02 f150xlt is the single cd player/radio. I notice sometimes in the morning when i get to work that when i shut my truck off and turn the key to acc. the radio lights stay on. Sometimes it does not stay on. I kind of like it when it stays on till i take the key out. I was wondering if there is a way to turn it on that i am not doing right. Also do the f150's have the feature like the GM stereos that you can listen to the radio with the key out untill you open a door....

 

yes... you gotta splice into a wire. do a search on "radio mod".

 

I have a '99 XLT, 4x4,
My radio backlight doesn't come on at all, the radio runs fine, but no display. What is it a fuse or what. Also, does anyone know how to reset the trucks computer.
