Question Could I burn up my toggle switch??

Tonight I installed a 3-way toggle switch from Autozone. It controls my fog lights and my driving lights. The center position of the switch is the off position. I have also installed a relay to make my driving lights come on with my high beams. From the relay I tied into the wire from the switch to the driving lights. I have now noticed that when I turn the high beams to have my driving lights on too, that the light under the driving light side of the toggle switch comes on also, even though the switch is in the off position. Do I have something wired up wrong????? Thanks for any help...

That's why the indicator lamp is coming on. It shouldn't cause any problems as the indicator lamp is just being back-fed. If the switch is rated for enough amps to power your lights, then it shouldn't burn it up.

Thanks Rob, just wanted to be sure I would not start a fire in my surround around the steering wheel. That is where I have it mounted at. Thanks for the help.
