First thing I would do is check the fuses and relays then check conections and switches the only other thing it could be after all that is a bad motor.

power window

Mine is doing the same thing. I've taken the door trim off, and when I press the switch, it sounds as though the motor is getting power. I just can't get inside to the motor.

power window

Get this...My passenger window hasn't been working for about a year now. A year ago, I was playing around with the door switch and stuck the probes of a multimeter to it. I saw a spark and it started working. I hadn't messed with it since until this week. I took the door panel off the other day and tried the same thing with the mulitmeter. Nothing happened. I left the panel off and a friend got in yesterday and the darn thing started working. He rolled it up and down a few times then it stopped working again. The way I see it, it was to be a short somewhere or something not making contact. What do you all think?

Thanks,

Billy

OK, I have a 2002 built in Kansas City. My driverswindow just quit out of the blue. I went to the dealer and they told me it was the switch. They ordered a switch for a 2002 but it was wrong?!
They said since it was an early truck (built in AUG/SEP) it was a 2001 part. They got the right one and so far so good. (Only 3 days in the dealer's garage)
