Nice little web site but I think the prices are a little high for a alternator kit.

 

sorry for my ignorance...but what is a alternator kit?? and how does it give me more power? and how much power? hey, its not my fault i am slow, its my parents. j/k. thanks.

 

What they are selling is a replacement alternator so that oyu can produce more electric power if you run a lot of accessories. I would guess the kit contains an alternator, voltage regulator and new wiring up to the task of handling all that amperage.

But I agree with hmustang... sure is a lot of money.

Couldn't you just buy an Underdrive pulley rather than change the alternator to reduce the amount of power that is used Not sure if they make one for the F-150...so take this post for what it's worth
