My truck did not come with a tach in the dash. If I get a gage cluster from the same year with a tach and install it in my truck, will the tach work??

yes it will work the minute you start the truck, you don't have the have your truck reprogrammed, only the 99's and up. also i have a gauge cluster listed in the classified, check it out it is in perfect condition, its out of my 97 that i swapped out the engine for a lightning engine that i built up and it took a lot up changes, i had to change everything to a 2000, all electrical parts in the dash including all wire harnesses. let me know if you are interested. gary at suns@hargray.com
