Question Windshied Washer Problem

Is anyone having a problem with the windshield washer turning on when you use the turn signal or change the speed of the wipers?

First I thought I bumped the washer button, but it's happening so much, plus it runs much longer that it should if I would have bumped it.

I have a 2002 F150 Lariat Flareside that is only six months old, with 8K miles.

Thanks,

Take it to the dealer and tell them the symptoms. They will change the multi-function (turn signal/wiper/washer) switch. Used to be a fairly common problem.

Thanks

Thanks Dennis, I planned on taking it my the dealership sometime this week, but was hoping that I wasn't the only one having this problem.
The dealership where I take mine has a bad habit of trying to cover up problems. A week after I bought the truck, both rear tires were "out-of round", so I took it into them and left it for the day expecting to have the tires replaced. All they did was move the tires to the front, because I started having the same trouble after they rotated the tires last week.
Luckily my buddy works in a Lincoln dealership that would handle the warranty for me.

Its probably the multi-function switch -- had the same problem on an explorer & that fixed it.
