Upgraded batt. ground...have question?
I had a 10 ga. ground wire from my batt. to the body of the truck, and a ground strap that connects to my Al. intake manifold about 10" away. The ground strap was easier to access, so I removed the bolt, sanded, and added a 4 ga. ground from the negative terminal to the point at which the ground strap was connected from the intake, and put the strap back with the bolt. Is this cool or ? Thanks!!!

I had to read your post a couple of times to understand exactly what you're doing.
Thought you were going to use the 4 ga. wire in place of the strap at first. However, that's not the case.
I really don't know if it's okay or not. If the strap is of sufficient size, it's probably okay. However, if the strap was sized "just right," then what you did might not provide sufficient ground for the body.
If I had to make a guess, I'd say it's okay.
