Question installing XLT bumper with fog lights....How do I hook up the lights?

I am replacing my stock bumper on my XL model '97 with a '97 XLT bumper with the fog lights in the bottom. Is there a way to hook up the fog lights or wire them in to my existing lights?......Markymark

the wiring should be there the plugs are usually capped and attached on the back of the rad core support (just feel around) you will have to purchase the factory foglight light switch those are not too much $
hope this helps

i have a 99 2wd xlt and installed the factory fog lights.the plugs are attached to the core support but the wireing needed to plug in a new switch is not there.i ended up buying a wireing kit from local auto parts and wireing into the parking lamps.now fogs come on when i turn on the parking lights.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the help.My truck was an '97 XL 2wd base model and did not come with the wireing for the fog lights.
I bought an after market kit for it at a parts store and wired it separate...........Markymark
