Question 'Cruise' light always on bright

The cruise-control 'engaged' light is always illuminated bright (regardless of the dimmer switch position) on my '02 Screw...

Is there a way to make it dim with the other instrument lights?

Thanks in advance!

i noticed that too. I don't think there's any way of making in dim.

Just dont use your cruise at night, or better yet, put a sticker on it.

They do that to make sure you see it when the sun is shining on the instrument panel. Probably for liability reasons in case some idiot rear ends someone they can't blame Ford.

Gee, my '99 , '97, and '87 didn't have the Cruise light. My '01 has it. Never missed it in the old trucks and I ignore it in the new. If it's that much of a distraction, just disconnect the bulb.
