Yeah, I thought I had that changed but no luck - I sent you email.

The fobs you need have icons on the buttons - the older trucks (97MY and older) had the words on the buttons (i.e. Lock, Unlock, Panic).

 

perhaps you're not turning the key fast enough.
try it going almost as fast as you can and end in
on. if doors do not lock and unlock, you're not in
programming mode. maybe something's wrong with the system-does it have less than 36k on it? if so
take it to the dealer along with your fobs(small
one battery ones, with icons on them) and get them
to fix it.

 

I ask them to check it for me and they said it would cost about 80 bucks just to tell me if it had the box on it when I found that for myself (with some help from you guys)
I will try it faster tommorow maybe I will get it ...thanks for the suggestion.

I do have the extended warranty but does it cover this I do not know I do know that the deductable is $100.00

 

what dealership told you $80???

bring it to kinston if you cant figure it out.

I have tried everything to make this work ......where abouts are you in kinston I ride my bike over that way alot on sat. and sun.
It is good to see Iam not the only one in N.C. on this site let me know and I'll try to get it over there one day thats not too far from here I can take 70 or 55 hwy ...I have tried everything I can to get this to work butt it just want do right it will work on my buds truck but not mine ......just got my owners manual yesterday & I'll check them relays in the fuse box to see if they are working I was told that could be the problem???? hey nice lightning pics on your web that 12. run was that @ kds

 

yea, that was at KDS, the video was a lightning i bought this past summer, but i got rid of it cause it was too small. I work at Evans Ford, here on 258, beside the Chev place thats on the corner of 70 and 258. If you cant get it to work, just run it by sometime, and even if its not simple, it shouldnt be more than about 30 for the diag time, def. not $80.
