Unhappy Power Door Locks (part 2)

I have a 2000 F150 Lariat S/Cab. The passenger door will not lock or unlock with either door button or the clicker. The lock will try to move but doesn't either up or down depending on where it is. Once in a while (every 20 times it will work with the door button or clicker. Normally to unlock I have to use the inside door handle and to lock I have to push the lock down by hand. Any suggestions on what to do and how to do it? Great site, Thanks for the help.

i think on those you need a large rivet gun. not like the small hand held. it's large two hander. you might want to have someone do this for you. the door latch has to come out to. and some of the rod's. good luck
