Paul,

Go to your nearest installation shop and ask for a MAID2000 or METRA wiring printout. I am an installer, and I suggest that you double check the diagram with an OHM meter. I found a few slight discrepancies on the MAID version. Or just pay the 65.00 to have it put in. What brand are you using? Do you already have power locks? Do you have a factory alarm? These are all factors which will effect the skills required.... Due to addition of relay packs and isolators.

If you need more help just post, I will try to get back at ya!

Talking All the help you will need!

Try this web site there great.

www.bulldogsecurity.com

Just pick the make and model of truck or car and it will give all the info on what wires/colors match. It will also show how to install a alarm, remote starter, keyless entry.

great site use it all the time.

hope this helps!

Thanks guys,

I will check that site out. I used to own a car stereo shop about 10 years ago and I did most of the installs myself. So it is not a big deal for me to this as I am very capable of installing this without the wire codes but It would just be a little easier if I knew the color codes of the wires in advance.

I have not been doing it for a living for about 10 years so I would like to make it as easy as possible for myself. Thanks again for the help guys, Paul
