I suppose that some F150's don't come with that sensor, you didn't say what year yours is, mine is a 1998 and I've never seen it, however my folks have a 1999 Expedition and theres has it, it comes on all the time, kinda two fold, that way, does no good if its going to cry wolf.

GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have it you should be able to see it. It will be a float type mechanism either in the reservoir or attached to the bottom of the reservoir cap.

very funny...the reason why is I live in CANADA where we get snow in the winter and you go through a lot of washer fluid...would you drive on the highway and all of a sudden run out of washer fluid...you try driving with no washer fluid in the winter

In all fairness, oil should be checked at every fill-up (whether you burn oil or not). While the hood is open, it only takes a second to look at the clear jug t see if its full or not.

Besides, a good gallon (4 litre) capacity should last a decent time anyway.

Others have said that it works on an Expy. Most of the parts like the instrument cluster are used in both the Expy and the 150, with minor differences. Also the cruise control dash light doesn't work in the 150, yet is functional in an Expy.

Question

Actually, I mean the indicator light on the instrument cluster. My C/C controls on the steering wheel light up at night. When the C/C is turned on, or in use, there is no "ON" indicator light lit on the instrument cluster. It works on Expys, and I "think" on 250 and 350s.

S76, on my 2000 F150 the 'CRUISE' light comes on in the instrument cluster when the cruise is engaged. No indication when it's on only when it is engaged.
