I am looking to add an actuator to the tailgate lock. It will be a DIY build and not using the Pop & Lock. I'd like to tie into the Front Passenger lock/unlock wires.
Is a 2 or 5 wire actuator be needed? i believe it would be a 2 wire.
Where would be the best place to tap into these wires?
Is there a wiring diagram available for the factory wiring to the power doors?
Where would be the easiest place to tap into these wires? What color?
