I finally tackled the job of repairing my overhead console. The temperature and compass indicators had not worked for ages. I used the following video for guidance. It didn't take much time. The resistors are tiny so I had to be careful adding solder to the ends. It works again!

 

I don't know if they are the same. I think I saw a video of a similar repair for a F250 on youtube. The negative part of my repair is that the latches on those two compartments that hold sunglasses or something both broke. Age and heat had made them brittle. I have them taped shut now but I'm thinking I'll just super glue them shut so they will look normal.
