Fuel Delivery and Spark Plugs
Fuel Delivery and Spark Plugs
2001 Ford F150 XLT 5.4 Triton
I installed a new set of fuel injectors and new spark plugs. I also had to replace two of the COP connectors. The new COP connectors were not color coded. Both connecting wires were black. I oriented them in the same configuration as the wiring in the OEM connector. My engine is now loading up with fuel. Is it the new injectors or the new spark plugs that caused this to happen?

That's a terrible idea. Sometimes they even have a "core" value. Whenever I put new injectors in, I save the old ones for about a month or two, just in case.
I would start by checking those COP connectors to make sure everything is in check.
