Hello, i have a 2007 ford f150 fx4 5.4. Had a new engine put in and now it kills the engine automatically when put into reverse (AND ONLY IN REVERSE) truck runs fine and drive fine you can go with any gear combo P-D,N-D,N-P,P-1,P-2,D-1,D-2,N-1,N-2 but as soon as you throw reverse into the mix its a automatic kills to the engine. Checked and repaired all the f##ked up things that the shop i used to put the engine in. Im thinking its either the bcm or pcm because you can unplug the TSS (transmission selector switch) and truck will shift in to all gear and not die, but with the TSS unplugged truck will not switch into gear, so i sure its not that. I did fine some wires pinched come to find out it was the reverse/brake circuit(repaired the wires) im thinking the wires my have shorted out the circuitry in either the bcm or pcm. Please help
