2004 XLT Heritage, same as 1997 - 2003.

The brake lights on the body, and the driver side blinkers work sometimes and not others.

Upper brake light works fine at all times.

Mostly don't work in the morning, seem to work better when weather is warmer.

Intermittencies are very difficult to find, any suggestions would be appreciated.

When you use the 4-ways / hazard lights, do all 4 work ?

I am thinking it is a problem with the MFS ( multifunction switch ) but would want to start with if all 4 work with the hazards.
