Anti-Theft or GEM

01 f150 7700 5.4 triton 2wd
Door ajar lite stays on, 4x4 lite in upper rite corner of cluster panel stays on(don't have 4 wd), Alarm does't work.
What i have checked: ajar switches are good they both have continuity and have power to them. Sit in drivers seat with window rolled down and arm the alarm. Pull the handle from inside to open door, no alarm.( not sure if that is an appropriate test)
Just wondering if it's my anti-theft or GEM?

Check the GEM for water damage from a leaky windshield.

glc is correct. Check the GEM for water damage, and if there is, correct the leaky windshield, before replacing the GEM.

Thank you. Will look at it . Let me present this to you. What do you think the odds are of a lighting strike?( i know, you are going this guy is crazy!) The reason i ask is,I've been living with this ajar prob for some years now and a while back lighting struck real close like the hairs on my neck stood up, my alarm went off, and i can see a couple small spider webs in the glass of my door mirror. If my memory serves me correctly, that's about the time the issue with the ajar lite popped up.
???????

It might be. Lightning can do some pretty bad stuff.
