P0460 code

Engine won't start ran fine yesterday when I parked it 1999 f150 4.2 I don't hear the fuel pump and checked the fuse and inertia switch under the clove box

That code shouldn't prevent it from starting.

I cleared the code and it didn't come back

Just tried switching the fuel pump relay with the one next to it . It still won't start

I'd suspect the fuel pump itself. Have you checked for fuel pressure at the rail?
