Help taillights blew. 2002. F150
2002 F150 Supercab: posted earlier Help With no tail lights or brake lights
Well replaced bulbs we found 1 bulb completely blew up. Seems surge blew it and all rear lights quit, front lights worked but not rear. Found no loose or broken wires, no loose grounds, where else would be grounded wires besides front panels or under dash.
Now I have lights however, headlights only work when on automatic not manual.
Now alternator light is on and when tested seems fine.
So what blew the tail lights n now why does lights work when switch is on Automatic not manual.
Any help would be appreciated. Darn electrical issues.

As someone said in the other thread you started, you need to take this to someone you can trust who will give you a quote for the diagnostics and fix. That's your best option.
