the batt light is on 2003 f150 had the battery tested -- good
alternator test -- bad voltage reg - bought new alt battery light still on an
not charging --- took alt back to store --- had them test new alt on truck--
bad volt. reg had them test my old alternator off truck ---- passed

checked connections at alternator everything seems fine I also replaced the serpentine belt when I changed the alternator the light stays on


please advise on next steps other connections , fuses or relays and locations? thanks Judesson

 

Alternator field fuse
- Battery Junction Box Fuse # 11 - 20A



Check the alternator field connector to make sure the connector and wires are not damaged.
