So every time I have cruise control on and I turn my left turn signal on the cruise turns off. It only does it with the left side. I have LED brakes lights but have added capacitors so I don't have the quick blinking issue. My reverse lights aren't out either. I have normal turn signal bulbs up front which are working correctly. The after market auto start stopped working also. The only other thing I can think of is the auto start module has failed. But I don't know how to check that. Any ideas?

 

That sounds like the left tail lamp is showing out to the system.

Another member posted back about some rear relay, asked for clarification never got any ( EVTM does not show a rear relay ).

Did you install capacitors or load resistors ?
- Should be load resistors.

Might want to check that the load resistors are still in place.

I had the same symptoms happen on my '06 Lariat, on a trip from Chicago to DesMoines IA, it was the left stop / turn that was blown.

Also, Autostart or remote start added ?

 

You're right they are resistors. The lights work fine though. I'll double check.

Yes the remote start was added three years ago with the aftermarket alarm system.
