I have a 06 Ford King Ranch 4x4 with several small issues. I purchase this truck several months ago and found some problems since. The power mirror will not TILT, however they will fold. Also the power pedal adjustment will not work. I have checked the fuse's and they appear to good. Has any body had this problem??? This is a nice truck not to have these items working.

On the driver seat the heated seat feature will not come on. When you press the button on the dash the 2 little lights flash a couple of times then go out. The passenger side works fine. So guess these get there power from the same fuse?? Any repair for this.

I just noticed that the windsheild fluid motor will not work also??

1. Power mirrors
Neither mirror will tilt ?
Is it up or down or both ?
Will the mirror on both / either side move in & out ?

2. power pedals
How did you check the fuse ?
- Pull and stare at it or test for + VDC from a known good ground to both pins on the back of the fuse while installed ?
Does the KR trim level have the memory setting in it ?
This is to know if it is Fuse #109 or fuses # #3 and #109 that should be checked ?

3. Driver's side heated seat.
This sounds like a broken wire in the heated seat circuit.
if you pull the connector off the heated seat module ( under the seat ) and check for resistance from the Yellow w/ black stripe wire to the White w/ light blue stripe wire, do you get any resistance reading or does is show infinity ?

 

Both Driver side and Passenger side power mirror's will only fold in. They will not tilt up, down, side to side etc. the fuse appears to be okay.

as far as the power pedals i checked fuse. It does have memory, when i press the button for 1 or 2 nothing happens. I dont know where to start

I will pull the connector this weekend and check for resistance. if the wire is broken underneath the leather skin, can you pull the leather off and resolder the break???

 

What do you mean "appears" OK ?

Either it is good or it is bad, nothing appears or is subjective about testing the fuse correctly.

Starting to see a common item here, fuse #3.

So when you turn the switch to the left, and try to move the mirror in or out, is there anything ?
- i.e. : Clicking that the mirror is at the limit.

If you pop off the door switch panel, turn the switch to select the left mirror and press down, checking on the yellow & dark blue wire set, do you get + VDC ?
On the red & yellow ?

 

i have check all fuses with a ohm meter. All fuse are okay. So today i started looking into the wiring under the driver side seat. There are some wires that have been cut and put back together with a splice kit. Also there is a plug that comes out of seat that is not plug up to anything, i figure this is the heated seat wiring. i can not find a socket for this to plug into. Also i have memory seats button but i looked at back of switch and there is no wires hooked to it. also there is no harness that will plug into this. However there is a large plug that has about 12 pins but nothing on it. I need some pics., or a wiring harness to figure this out. It appears that someone has jack leg this seat. PLEASE HELP
