Any Foxbody Mustang gurus on here?

I have an 88 GT and have been through multiple hunt and peck fixes for no turn signals. I got the car for my 16th birthday (17 years ago now) and everything worked fine. I had the headlights shutting off issue and fixed that with a new switch. I went through the loud speaker stage and had a stereo system in it. Some have said I may have fried a wire somewhere. But i hate to drive it with no turn signals. I have tried new lever, relays, and so forth without any luck. Maybe someone here might have some advice that helps. Thanks in advance.

Ok i am not a mustang guru. Have you checked that all the points get the electricity they need. As in when you turn the lever does the relay get power. After the relay is the power going out to the light. Do you have the proper voltage all the way thru.

Continuity!!!!! The wire is your most likely culprit if it doesnt work. Do you get electric at the light when the signal is turned on. Do the hazards work???? Did you replace the flasher?????

foxbody guru checking in

remove the steering column cover. remove the multifunction switch, ignition switch etc.... Look at all of the connectors. You just might find some are melted, burnt and/or wires backing out of the connectors. New connectors are easily found for a reasonable price. I recently replaced all of mine and ordered from thecliplink.com

I don't know if you still have the mustang. I also had a 88 and I bought a turn signal the next week my mustang caught on fire so I still have the turn signal new in a box.
