Unless there was a 1 off for the 2010 MY, there is no factory remote start from Ford.
There is a Ford branded remote start which is dealer installed.
- Usually the dealer has an installer do it for them, cheaper than paying tech rate to have it done.

Two dealers in my area wants $400 to install. I have a 2013 Expedition. They did say it was plug-&-play. My confusion is that some places say that one kit come with only 1 key fob, I must buy a second one and have the dealer program it and some places say I need the PATS interface module. Basically I get different answers as too what comes with the kit and what I need.

As I understand it the Ford system is a Code Alarm with Ford labels none are plug and play. I paid 250 for the Viper system in mine after doing a month of research on the Ford system. It has longer range and more features I wanted for the price. Even though you can plug in most of the Ford Systems you still need to have them program the PATS module for it to run without a key in the ignition. Any installer can however do the install and programing.
