2003 f-150 possible fuse problem.

Alright first off, I've got a 2003 F-150 Supercrew XLT 4x4 5.4. yesterday I got my new headlights in and my Recon third brake light. I went to put the recon light on thinking it was just plug and play, not the case. I waited for dad to get home because I thought we could wire it up and get it done in no time. Well it wasn't that easy, the instructions were hard to fallow but by the time we figured out how to wire it the back up lights on the actual recon light would not work and the interior cab light above my seat wouldnt work either. On top of that the windows won't roll up and the lights that you normally get on your dash where your mph and fuel level and all that is wont work either. My dad and I are pretty sure that we blew a fuse somewhere because I came across a thread that said once you cut the third brake light off your truck it blows fuses so we're kind of at a stand still. We have the brake light wired correct we think because we finally understood the instructions and got only the brake light to work. We'd really appreciate any help. Thanks, Zach.

Did you check the fuse for the interior lamps from each pin on the back of the fuse to a known good ground while installed ?

what are the new headlamps installed ?
