2008 gauge/battery question

Hello all,
I just got done wiring my Summit lights on the front of my truck and I have a question. I hooked these to the battery and everything works great but I noticed when I crunk the truck up the speedometer and the rpm gauge stayed bottomed out and bounced around for a little bit before going to the proper positions. Is this just them resetting after loosening the battery terminals?
I figured I would ask here since this is where every possible F150 google answer takes me anyway.

There is a gauge sweep function after power loss. It is almost like a recalibration of the gauges after having low / no power.

If it continues check the battery cables to make sure they are not corroded.

You might also see this when the battery is on the way to dead, if so swap it straight away.

Thank You,
I have been in and out of the truck all day and I haven't noticed it any more today. I did loosen the terminal to hook the lights up so for the moment I will chalk it up to that. I will also keep this in mind incase it happens in the future.
